Who are they?
After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.
So GateBits is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.
How does it work?
Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.
Withdrawing funds
You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.
If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.
How to get your money back?
If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.
The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. What about wires?
If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. Make sure you leave reviews about GateBits in other sites
Another way to hurt them and save other people from falling victims is to leave bad reviews on other sites, and describe shortly what happened. If you fallen victim please leave a review and a comment on this site at the comment section. Also, when these people change their website they tend to call the old clients, so if they call you from a new website please write it down on the comment or let us know it by contacting us. That would be really appreciated by us and families all over world. Also if you get phone calls from other companies please put the name of these companies also in the comment or send it to us. II was told my the Broker that he would refer me to customer service after he abused me and told me to close my account, he was very Rude.
ii have been emailing and trying to call customer service daily since then. I am very disappointed in my experience. And wish no one else get involved with such rude people.
Hi Nikki , we’ve also having issues with gatebits, after investing with them months ago things were going well until we won’t put any more money , now they refuse to answer any calls or emails and won’t let us withdraw the money, thanks for posting this review a lot more is making sense now , still hopeful of getting something back tho, cheers

I had a similar experience Nikky and when trying to email their support line [email protected] it bounces from my email provider.

I too am having problems withdrawing my money. .
I don’t know what to believe…so far the executive manager has been so good and she helped me withdraw to see if they do what i asked. I have some fund on the platform and still trading. But I have this odd feeling that something is not right…..feel like they are hiding something….I won’t increase fund and see if I can withdraw again.
I too fell in a trap by them and lost 7000$. Not able get it back. I am helpless and I don’t think I will get back my amount.

dont fall for their scams they are very good at what they do they are very intelligent they are smooth talkers my agent was very good he makes you feel like hes your best friend in the world they try to know you the best they can and after that they will use that to rob you of your money very slick after a couple of weeks he made me download a program name ask and after i did that when i open my bank account he was in it with me he said he needed to do that to see if my bank was compatible with their system thats when i got really scare that hes seen the inside of my account i cant believe that i was so naive to do that when i say the retention agent was very good believe me they are very good i was bless my bank gave me back the money they took from me i have to tell you the name of my bank because they took care of this matter with no problem its cibc bank in canada their awsome thank god that they were my bank but im still gona try to get my money from them if i can do that that will be a double whammy for them we have to stop these scammers finally there is no easy way to make money with cryptocurrency trading like they do i blame immediate edge for that there the one advertising for this and it seems they dont care if you get scammed thats why i think immediate edge is on it there the one that invented that system is thre really an honest cryptocurrency trader out there with that system i doubt it until i find one i dont believe that there is one so dont get involve with any of them its funny their ratings with trustpilot was a 4.3 stars incredible they had to do all these reviews themselfes its unbelievable

That is how they do ,first she asked me which bank and I told her it’s Scotia and she replied that is good but the doubt came in My mind when she told me to browse another website called bitworms and immediately I read the terms and conditions before registration that I had ended up buying personalized education training course and I ask her if I am buying something else she insisted this amount will appear in my account since they outsource the service of depositing money with bitworms and I told her no I need more time to research but she tried to convince me but she never succeeded
Unfortunately we fell for the scam & working to get our money back, we’ll see how this goes but by the sounds of it, not well.
It’s a total scam! I can’t withdraw my money. If someone is successful in getting their money back, please kindly share how to do that.

This is a scam and only works on the condition if and only if you follow the account managers intrusive and offensive attacks to suck more money out of you. As soon as you have done that then they ask for more and more and more until they make you feel like you are not significant enough to continue with them. They continue to make you feel as if you need to invest more to get more….in the meantime they feed you some returns but you never get access back to your investment. I have sent more than 10 emails for a response but they don’t even respond. Now I have to call these scammers out and for those who want or even think about trading with GATEBITS….STAY AWAY….STAY RIGHT AWAY!!!!

It’s pure scam I registered their website after I watched a video in Facebook about their businesses and immediately a lady called me explaining more about gatebits and when we arrived on how to deposit money she took me another website called bitworms and I read the terms and conditions before I deposited any penny and then I discovered it’s scam and since I am buying personalized education.
