The Financial IG

Read our The Financial Investment Group review to see if we recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a thefinancialigp.com review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So The Financial Investment Group is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

  1. I have deposited 25,000$ on the Financial Investment Group platform. While I was working with the account manager, i was guided how to place the positions correctly in order to gain profit. it worked and I have made close to 30% growth on my money on my first month.
I then made a decent withdraw of 15,700$.
A month later was invited to a Dimond account group. I deposited this time additional 40,000$. On the following month I have made another 40% gains on my money.
I’m very happy with my investments, and I find the team very helpful and professional.

  2. Great company as long as you are giving money to them! LOL. My own fault as I got sucked into their game. As soon as I could not put in any more money a switch happened and they play a risky move and lost it all. Even blamed their own people and my 10k that was up to 21K went to $1800. They sent me to recovery dept. which asked me to put in another 3k and they would borrow some from their company to get me back up to 10k. I said NO i don’t have any and with in that week they led on to work with me. got it up to 7k again. Then a switch happened again. They guy said, “O your the one that doesn’t want to put any money in”. Made a high risk buy and I say my account go do to $90. So I can’t even withdraw it. I was never allowed to withdraw any money. As soon the first lost, I knew I was never getting my money BACK. BEWARE, as I don’t believe these comments you see as every day they put a new one one. Its Boogus! Either that or I am bad luck. LOL because out of all the Reps, one got sick, one got demoted, their analyst got fired, one went on a leave of absence, another never called back, and the last one got sick and then lost the final money and NEVER called back!

  3. This company is an unregulated trading company that runs a questionable, if not scam, operations. I saw an ad about crypto currency trading and I decided to check it out. I was then directed to a foreign online site where I created an account. I made the mistake of creating an account and transferring USD 248.00 to my new account. The website says there’s a 10-day moneyback guarantee. My money was sent to The Financial Investment Group. I then got a call from Benjamin Shore, Senior Investment Director of The Financial IG. At first I wondered why a Senior Investment Director would call me when I only put in USD 248.00. Well, Mr. Shore sounded like a used car salesman. It didn’t take long for me to realize this company wants me to put in more money. I told Mr. Shore I’ll just manage my account. The following day another employee called me, this person is just a manager this time. He sounded like a marketing person, too. When I informed him that I want to close my account, he started delivering the “talk” – why would you close your account when you can grow it to so many thousand dollars, when you can get a return of so many thousand dollars per month, etc. I told this manager that it’s my right to close my account and I have no obligation to justify my decisions on my own money. He sounded offended and he told me he’ll close my account and the money will go back to my bank account. I asked and he said I don’t have to do anything to close my account. This all happened on June 16, 2022. Needless to say, my account with Financial IG is still not closed and the email I sent to Benjamin Shore was never answered. The 10-day money back guarantee on the firs website is also a scam. There’s no online link to get to a page that will allow me to opt out or close my account. Today, July 6, I received a phone call from a trading company that referenced this June 16 transaction I had. They’re offering me some discount so I can open an account with them. When I told them I don’t want to open an account and I want my account with Financial IG closed, the lady on the phone told me Financial IG is a scam and her company will help me get back my USD 248.00. She started asking me questions but I advised her to send everything to me via email and I won’t answer any question online. Guess what? I didn’t receive any email from them! I’m not surprised. Everyone who gets to read this should beware: Do not open any trading account with The Financial Investment Group – you won’t get your money back. Lear from my mistake.

  4. You cannot get your money out. When you request a higher withdrawal, they delay, delay and then don’t reply to your emails. They are not listed at the address posted on the site.
They do not answer the phones.

  5. They will take your money but they will not let you take any money out.
Benjamin Shore, Anthony Bekker, Nathan Logan – those are all names you will hear.
They will spend a lot of time talking to you and showing you arbitrage trades but they will not let you have your money.

  6. They will let you take your money but they will not let you withdraw.
They will spend time talking to you and showing you arbitrage trades.
As soon as you will not give them any more money they become angry.
They will never let you withdraw money.
Stay clear of Benjamin Shore, Anthony Bekker and Nathan Logan

  7. This company is complete fraud!! Do not trust them, they take your money and get your to keep adding more into the account and then do not pay out… unfortunately I didn’t want to believe it but I read these comments when I was still working with them and as soon as I asked to withdraw my money, they disappeared

  8. Update on this company. They kept calling to try and convince me to send more money. I kept telling them I only want to close the account. The last agent I talked to told me I can close my account by doing this and that. I thanked her and when I get on my laptop and tried to log into my account using the bookmark to the website, guess what? The website cannot be found!!! They closed the url address of the website I used to log in to check my account. Beware! This company is a scam! The “CEO” scammer who talked to me was Benjamin Shore. Beware.

  9. They get you to invest, and steal your money. Unfortunatly i know from experience. Do Not invest any money with them. They make you feel safe, make money, and then they send you a small amount of money when you request a withdrawl. Gives you a bit of trust they are who they say they are. Once they have you hooked into the scam they clear out your account. Constant asking to deposit more, always saying big things happening and lots of money to be made. When they “lose” your money they send you to the recovery department, to help recover the loss, but in order to do that you need to deposit more so they have money to work with. Then they steal it all over again. When you tell them you want to withdrawl your money they agree but never do it. Just keep trying to string you along.

These are 3 of the scammers i dealt with

    Nick Berkovic
    Jason Hill
    Michael Smith

  10. This company is a complete scam!!! Please beware of Richard Krol. He will feed you lies and act like your best friend. I’ve been dealing with him for over 8 months then he just disappeared after telling me he was leaving to go to Japan for a month!! Now his email is disabled and so us the support email. They are not even in London UK. If you read their bonus policy, they mention the state of Estonian twice!! I believe they are based out of Estonia. They took a lot of my money mostly with trades. I’ve reported them to UK, EU, USA and Canadian fraud and scammers investigations. I can’t believe they are still getting away with this.
