Who are they?
After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.
So EcCapital is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

How does it work?
Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.
Withdrawing funds
You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.
If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.
How to get your money back?
If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.
The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. What about wires?
If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. Make sure you leave reviews about EcCapital in other sites
Another way to hurt them and save other people from falling victims is to leave bad reviews on other sites, and describe shortly what happened. Thanks for the review but unfortunately for me it’s too late, Eccapitals have just scammed me $17000, in same way you just described, All I did was to respond to a sponsored Tesla trading advert on Facebook I filled in my details and I got a call and was ask to make a minimum deposit of $400 Then I was told an account manager who Will be assistOMG me in trading will Call me, the following day someone called he said his name is Christian Novak, he said he will be my account manager, I told him I don’t know how to trade, he Said I don’t need to do any trading myself he Will place tradè For me everyday all I will do is to just check my profit then he said my $400 has become $430 I was happy we did more trading together that day I got a profit of about $110 I was happy, he then suggested if I can increase my balance to $3000 then he can help me to trade commodities specifically he said oil and he will guarantee $400 profit a day, the following day I made more deposit of $2600 by buying bitcoin worth the money on Coinbase and he transferred it to their Eccapitals bitcoin wallet He was all the transaction him through AnyDesk on laptop, he said payment with bitcoin attracts 10% discounts anyway my new deposit is $3000 now and we traded for two days and the money increase to $3800, that’s when he started introducing stock managed account, he called it project, the following day he made a list of various company stocks on spread sheet with stocks totalling $67000 he sent me one that belong to another client to have a look, so the one he designed for me once I pay the $67k I’m going to make minimum of £$41 profit, he said thats people or how I can make big money, but it involves a lot money, he was suggesting I go to my to my bank to take a loan with my house or any property I have anywhere, He even tried a to a loan application with a lender but i hesitated, I said I will look into It, I don’t Like loan or debt he keeps on the pressure insisted that I’m taking any loan now, he was disappointed, he ask me how much cash do I have, so I told him I have some cryptos in Binance and Coinbase, he said that’s even better, he then use an application called AnyDesk to take control of my devise and he converted all my crypto’s on Binance, Coinbase and EToro worth about $5000 Into bitcoin he transferred it to their Eccapitals Crypto wallet and ask me to pay some cash which I did from bank account, all we were doing is to make up $67k, so I told Him there is no how I can get that kind of money, anyway, eventually with cash deposit and trading Profit on their platform I paid $17000 then to balance $50000 I said there’s no how I can get balance, so he now suggested he will ask for a loan of the balance $50k from Eccapitals to fund the project for me, then I can pay back installmentally, the only condition is i won’t be able to close the project and take profit until I finish paying the $50k loan from Eccapitals other wise the profit belong to the company naively I agreed. so started uncovering some lies he told him for instance I ask if thy are FCA protected he yes and I requested to see their license, instead he sent license for capital.com, then I said capital is different from Eccapitals, then he said they are a branch capital.com I wasn’t convinced I called capital, capital told me they have no any relationship with Eccapitals they don’t even know they exist, I ask him to call me, he called and I confronted him with all the information I got from capital and I said based on this I’m not interested and I cannot not even raise the balance of $50k remaining, he tried to convince me that project have started with loan he got for me from Eccapitals and I have a profit of about $64k this is after two months, I insisted that I’m interested anyone he should hold on to profit, all I need the money I put in $17000 he please transferred it to me, he said he is sorry it’s not possible I can only withdraw if I pay the balance of the $50k, we argued I told him U said The project has a profit of $64k so I don’t want the profit just give me my deposit when he realised the game was up he told to fuck off he said he didn’t put gone on my your head to pay, he drop the phone, his response is consistent with scammers Fraudsters. So that how I lost $17000 to Eccapitals scam. So guys be careful and please spread the awareness so people don’t fall victim like me.

I invested about 20k with them three years back, did trading and when I ask to withdraw they said I have to close my account and only then I can get money from my account but I cannot close it as there are trades in negativity and to get rid of negativity I must pay them ten percent of negative balance, of ten thousand. I gave them the money and by that time the negative balance had gone up so I need to give them another 100 thousand if I want to withdraw. I don’t have that kind of money. My account burnt.

Eccapitals har kostat mig ungefär SEK140000 13000Euro. Jag har 45000USD på mitt Eccapitalskonto och jag ville ta ut en del av det begär de en avgift på 1500Euro och det vet jag genom andra är en bluff så jag föreslog dem att betala när jag fått pengarna men nej det gick de inte med på. Bluffmakarna står även bakom FCFMarkets så se upp även med detta företaget.
