Protraderfx Review

Read our Protraderfx review to see why we do NOT recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a protraderfx.com review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So Protraderfx is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

Regulatory Body Status
FCA (UK) No record of authorization
ASIC (AU) No record
CySEC (EU) No record
SEC / CFTC (US) No record

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Methodology: To learn how we identify high-risk brokers and evaluate potential scams, please refer to our methodology page: https://www.personal-reviews.com/methodology/

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

Make sure you leave reviews about Protraderfx in other sites

  1. I just got a call from protraderfx they claimed that i had talked to them before and that i requested information and almost insisted in getting my email. When i started to request more information about them the young lady started to stumble with words and wanted to transfer me to an investment expert. I hung up the phone on them and immediately got 3 phone calls back from different numbers with my phone displaying suspected scam and potential fraud. I immediately googled there company and found this place.

  2. Thanks, it was a very good description of those criminals. The red flags for this and similar organizations:
    1. Located overseas but “they do business all around the world
    2. Not regulated – meaning you have no way how to get even your initial deposit back
    3. London (UK accent) – most of those crucks are located within London
    4. The phone number they called you from does not exist
    5. For Canadiens – they say that they are in Canada, Ontario. When you ask what cities they are they located, they don’t know
    6. The agents are very friendly and make statements that are way too great to be true.
    6. Never allow this (or similar) company to lock into your computer – if you do, a disaster is imminent.
The reason for this reply is to inform you what this company is – the decision is of course yours

  3. This company and their representatives Laura Moreno and Thomas Benett are 100% SCAMMERS. They are very shrewd and persuasive, They will ask for a small investment, 500 euros, and quickly suggest addition investment, 1000 to 2000 euros, regardless of the position of the account. Impossible to withdraw funds.
    DO NOT INVEST.

    Ihre am Anfang erklärte Überraschung ist eingetreten – aber eigentlich auch nicht;

protraderfx.com (should be listed at FCA), there the broker is not known!
On this website, this fxbroker advertiseswith enticing offers of $200 starter accounts, of which only $100 need to be provided and 100 are credited as a bonus, up to minimum investment $25,0000 (so also higher).
In addition, it is optional whether a professional “advisor” is provided or should be traded by oneself. The “Advisor” is included in the costs chargedby “spread”.
I thought at $100 the risk is small. So I replied to the contact mail and got an answer on 14.05.21.
At first it was clear that the amounts mentioned always meant € and not $.
Then I was offered a personal Series-7 broker that trades from 300 underlying assets of stocks, commodities, currencies, indices, crypto,CFDs and ETFs for me, with regular signals, money repayment guarantee and a mtl. Return (depending on the size of the trading account).
    I took this broker!
The repayment guarantee included that if the return promised by the broker is not achieved, the right to repayment of the paid-in capital.
In addition, the system is intended to offer the possibility of retrieving amounts 2 days, weekly or even monthly.
This content is even more extensive and can be viewed on the website.
On May 14, I paid € 100 via Visa card and received a settlement in South African Rand (ZAR).
Then I signed a trading authorization on 14.5. for the advisor, who also introduced himself on the same day.
However, the correspondence was sparse, but there were daily phone calls, which probably owed the fact that the advisor is a migrant or a foreigner with difficult sentences. In the beginning, this advisor tried to research my private and financial circumstances. My objection: “This is unimportant here” came succinctly, he had to know all this. Incidentally, he only represents at least € 5 – 10 thousand trading balances – we agreed on 3000.
I had a maximum of 1,500 transfer frames. On 18.5. I transferred this amount to a bank in Lithuania. On the same day I searched FCA in the company list for “proTraderFX”, unfortunately in vain. I asked for information from my advisor: Telef. he explained a lot about the amount of the trading account and that I should necessarily also provide the required 3000 €, but nothing to FCA. Then I reclaimed the deposited amounts 100 and 1500. On 21.5. I received 100 back and in the phone call this was highlighted as a special vote of confidence. And if I now start with the 2nd transfer over 1500 €, he could finally act for me.
On 25.5. I heard that the trading volume is too small and I have to increase to T€ 50 – 120.
This prompted me again to reclaim my deposits. Without success. On 27.5. I also forwarded this e-mail to protraderfx.com. But it arrived at my advisor and was unsuccessful.

Mr Fischer – or whatever your name is –

the reason for our business relationship was the content of the website of protraderfx. All this was deepened by the statements of a Mr. Klaus (probably also a pseudonym) and the guarantee of protraderfx, which is apparently also a “fake”.
You have explained to me that at least 5000 € are necessary for trading and you can also generate at least € 50 profit. They explained that this does not entail any further deposit and I should just let myself be surprised.
Then – a few days later – you explained that the credit would be “gone” if I did not increase it to 50000 € – we agreed on 10000 € that I brought. Then that was not enough for the “administration” and you needed € 11,500 as the absolute last payment. Again days further on, this balance had become critical due to loss and if I do not increase (as announced) – everything is gone. We agreed on what I can do! You also wanted me to borrow money privately!
They shut me down from the trading platform. Previously, you offered to compensate for the expected and existing loss if I deposited accordingly.
    Their surprise explained at the beginning has occurred – but not really;
Everything has developed as I feared at the beginning.
It only took them 2 months to destroy my balance. They are an incredible Series 7 broker! You ripped me off and robbed me, you blackmailed me and put me under psychological pressure, you lied to me and cheated on me.
Under Az.: 202100883794 (001) the case is pending as a complaint to the police in Germany.
