Dino Markets Review

Read our Dino Markets review to see why we do NOT recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a dinomarkets.com review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So Dino Markets is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

Regulatory Body Status
FCA (UK) No record of authorization
ASIC (AU) No record
CySEC (EU) No record
SEC / CFTC (US) No record

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

Make sure you leave reviews about Dino Markets in other sites

If you fallen victim please leave a review and a comment on this site at the comment section. Also, when these people change their website they tend to call the old clients, so if they call you from a new website please write it down on the comment or let us know it by contacting us. 1. Dinomarkets.com are not to be touched, they are Scam Artists, I invested in them and asked for withdrawal of funds from my account, they have used every conceivable excuse not to carry out the procedure . You are unable to contact them on the phone numbers they provide and ignore E Mails,
They rang me regarding the review I left on Trust Pilot and became very loud shouting abuse down the phone
They are professional Scammers feeding of honest hard working people.
SCUM OF THE EARTH, do not fall fowl of these ROBBING SCAMMERS.

  2. Unfortunately I deposited money with dinomarkets. After the initial contact was made I deposited a small amount, after this I was passed to a “senior accounts manager”, whose sole intent was to make me invest more and more into their company. Fortunately I had my suspicions and said I didn’t want to invest anymore and wanted to remain a small trader just making £20-£30 pounds(or loosing same), As soon as I said this my once or twice phone calls from the company stopped. Immediately I requested a complete withdrawal of my funds, this was two weeks ago, on my withdrawal note it says “pending”, and no one has contacted me or answered my emails further requesting withdrawal of my funds. I am at a loss as what to do next

  3. Do not use Dino Markets for the following reasons

    1) They relentlessly badger you to add additional funds
    2) If you tell them you don’t have additional funds, they suggest that you take out a loan
    3) When you try to initiate a withdrawal, they try to block it. I still don’t have my funds
    4) They are aggressive and rude on the phone
    5) Complete lack of professionalism and customer care

  4. Totally agree with the reviews, they are only interested in stealing your money, they do not allow withdrawals, avoid at all costs.
Give poor reviews for these people , they are Scam artists of the highest order.

  5. I have started charge back proceedure with the bank and encourage others to do the same, should your bank reject your complaint get in touch with The Financial Ombudsman.
Place bad reviews online regards Dinomarkets.com to warn others of their SCAM.

  6. Like others before me, I was initially impressed by Dino Markets (or Raven Markets) especially the one to one treatment, regular updates and the steady increase of my initial small investment. However alarm bells should have begun to ring when Bella, my account manager, pushed for a larger investment. I eventually relented and unwisely invested more. But still that wasn’t enough, I was asked to invest more and when I made it clear that I didn’t have anymore, she suggested that I take a loan. Then the trades stopped happening and I couldn’t get a hold of Bella.

Checking the dashboard I discovered my account had been moved to Bruce Webber. Again, I was asked quite aggressively to invest more and again, as with Bella, I said I didn’t have anymore, the suggestion to take a loan was once again touted. I made it clear that I was not taking a loan.

After a couple of trades I then noticed that my account had, without notification, been transferred to Bill Kaufmann and yet again , I was asked quite aggressively to invest more and again, as with previous account managers, I said I didn’t have anymore, the suggestion to take a loan was once again touted. There were a number of trades on my account and the balance was beginning to look healthy. This time Bill informed me that I was being moved to a more senior analyst, Chris Jacobs, as I was a ‘VIP’ and to expect a call from him.

What Dino Markets have to be aware of is that people like myself are working during the day and potentially in meetings and unable to take calls at the drop of a hat.

I eventually spoke to Chris who asked me what my goals were etc and told me how he manages accounts. It all seemed to be going well until a conversation where he yet again aggressively tried to get me to invest another £20k as I wasn’t at the level of a VIP customer. Again, as before, I said I didn’t have the funds and he said to get a loan and even suggested walking me through the process. When I said no, he said he would no longer consider me a client and would push me back to Bill.

On the 15/6 I then decided to withdraw some funds from my account to ensure that I could. I submitted the requested and then waited. I believe Chris tried to call me on the morning of the 17/6 but I was in meetings. At 8.04 on the 17/6, two trades were made. At 8.45 I received an email to say my account was being closed due to regulation issues that Dino were aware of before my account was opened. At 8.53 the two earlier trades were closed and seconds later a much larger trade was opened (despite my account being terminated) with a leverage of 14 meaning the return would be much greater.

I then received a call from Tyler Clarkin to close down my account and to transfer the funds to my bank account (a relatively straightforward process one would think). Tyler started to explain about Capital Gains Tax and that it had to be taken off at source. Basically, a calculation of (closing balance – initial investment) / 25%. It didn’t seem to take into account CGT Exemption of £12300 and on top of that, the calculation was wrong. Anyway, in order to get the funds transferred to my account I was told that I had to pay the CGT into Binance so that their Finance team could pick it up. Once Dino Finance team had the CGT funds they would release the balance into my account. I told Tyler that I did not have the money required and again, it was heavily suggested that I get a loan and again he said he would walk me through it. I again said no. Tyler basically said that the money would just sit there with no-one able to touch it. I asked about getting my initial investment back and he said that as my account had been terminated, it wasn’t possible. I asked why trades were being made on my account after it been terminated, he had no answer. I made the observation that if my account had been terminated at the lower balance then any request for CGT would be lower, now its 3 times as much, I asked why but again no answer. It was a good thing I recorded the conversation as I have evidence of mocking me, being aggressive and trying to coerce a client into going into debt to give to a third party money in order to get to get their own money back. That was money that I worked very hard to get save. I trusted them and now I feel foolish.

Basically, avoid like the plague. Rude, obnoxious, unprofessional, charlatans, liars.

  7. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Avoid giving these people a penny of your money, you will never see it again.

    Dinomarkets are bad bad people

  8. Seems a common theme with all the Dino Marked
I was scammed the exact same way as all the other reported scams listed.
Firstly with Calvin Parker then Simon Lockhart, exact same motive by whichever fund manager is assigned to you, and that is to extort as much cash out of you as quickly as possible. Then when you try to withdraw some of your profit they want you to pay the 10% fee up-front to them before they release funds.
Its a scam, and I have a fraud team currently looking in to their scam, and trying to track them down through the phone numbers they supply. So please keep a track of the phone numbers they use because they are not registered in Ireland as they claim, they are from Bath, London and all over the country.

  9. Why can these people not be tracked down. Whilst they have perhaps received money willingly, the whole operation is a scam and they are acting fraudulently. Is there actually any hope in getting money back from them?
