Status Markets Review

Read our Status Markets review to see why we do NOT recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a statusmarkets.com review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So Status Markets is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

Make sure you leave reviews about Status Markets in other sites

Another way to hurt them and save other people from falling victims is to leave bad reviews on other sites, and describe shortly what happened. If you fallen victim please leave a review and a comment on this site at the comment section. Also, when these people change their website they tend to call the old clients, so if they call you from a new website please write it down on the comment or let us know it by contacting us. That would be really appreciated by us and families all over world. Also if you get phone calls from other companies please put the name of these companies also in the comment or send it to us. We will expose them too.

  1. thank you for your part. market status came to me by advertising on facebook under the title “pattern trade” – software that allows you to earn money quickly. already the next day called the broker to set up an account and pay a minimum amount of 210 Euro. I was skeptical he was very pushy, today he keeps calling from various numbers. I convinced him that I was unemployed, homeless, on sick leave, but they are heartless people trying very hard to get some money.
I’m worried because I do not know who I am dealing with, they look professional and got my personal data, I am afraid that they can pour into my computer or bank account.
Thank you for your input, you are doing a very good job!

  2. Thanks for your work. But I found your site and recommendations late. The market status came to me thanks to an advertisement on facebook called “pattern trade” – a program that allows you to quickly make money. The very next day, the broker, Roman, called to open an account and pay the minimum amount of $ 210. These are heartless people trying very hard to make some money.
I lost them because my analyst Valery called and opened deals. At first they earned a little, then they leaked everything. They received my personal details and a bank account. And you could not help me to withdraw the money.
Thanks for your input, you are doing a very good job!

Wymuszenie kwoty do legalnej wpłaty tzn 250 Eur.
Jeżeli chcą Państwo stracić wszystkie oszczędności i przeżyć koszmar życia proszę wejść z nimi we współpracę.
Aktualizacja: firma śledzi stronę Trustpilot i wystawia sobie pozytywne opinie. Czy potrzeba więcej dowodów?

  4. I be sting by Status Market, I only want to trade with the Robot trading. Next thing is this broker George reckon that he can do better than the Robot trading from $250US he said we can’t trade. So he ask me to deposit more money because it the end of the financial year, and I deposit $21, 000. He did well, but it was too good to be truth. We make money just about on every trade. Then he reckon that I should but an App from the company that cost $50,000 for STOP lost. That where all fall to shit. He manipulates to open more positions till Equity goes to critical, then he told me that he is a good friend with the company and borrowed $30,000to put on the my Equity. Then he pass to another broker, during this time my trade was up $80,000 . Because he borrowed that $30,000. The company Status Market told me that I need to deposit that $30,000 before I can get my money. They told to borrow from the bank and my super. And they ring a few time a day to threaten me.

  5. im on the phone conversation with one of the broker just now, luckly while answering the call, im reading this review… and their ask me same exact what inna told what to do,deposit 260 usd mininum, like wth,and the broker kinda pushy, like what did she tell me to do i must do it,and get scold when you asking too much question..pfffttt… and ye,after i hang up the phone, received an email from them.. Thanks to Inna saving me this time..

  6. Status Markets ripped me off too unfortunately…

I requested information because I know nothing about trading, and almost immediately a guy from Switzerland called me and said that my Financial Advisor. We set up the account and he urged me to deposit 220 euro. Later I got a call from Emily – my new Financial Advisor – and she helped me trade. She called me from different numbers here, her own number is from the UK, which she texts with. The money went down real fast, so I got a “bonus” so I could trade with bigger numbers and I made profits very fast: 5000$ the first day, 2000 the next and 3000 yesterday, but…..

To get my profit out I was supposed to pay them 7000 euro back, which they had given me as a Credit in dollars (next to the “free bonus” of > 3000$). Because the profit in my account was still the company’s money she said, until I put in the 7000 euro. But they knew that I don’t have that kind of money, as I told them so from the start.

But still I thought they were legal, so I tried to find 1000%. I maxed out a credit card and I sent them $1000 via a Crypto Bitcoin wallet, because their system doesn’t use any of the standard payment methods like Paypall and Mastercard/Visa. She wanted me to put in 1000$ every 1,5 week so the bonus will be held up.

She made me trade more and more positions on pip 4.00 (!!!), even though one of the positions I had was already down by -5000$. “No worries,”she said, “it will go up again”. But within no time I went from having a couple of thousand dollars profit to owing them lots of money, thousands of Dollars! That was very worrysome to see on the app with all the red numbers ofcourse, so I went into Sherlock Holmes modus and found many bad reviews online. I called the bank and credit card company and a refund company and Status Markets was well known to them, unfortunately.

I wish I had done my research of the company better, and I am very fortunate not to have put in more and more money, like lots of people already had done!

  7. This is heart wrenching. The same thing happened to me. It started with a Facebook ad for quantum code that took me to Status Markets with broker Roy Willis. Scam. It started with a low amount of money to get started, then added more money to make more profits. Then things went bad with him getting me into bad trades one after the other. Next came margin call that led him to fund my account from the financial department even with me telling him not to and I didn’t have any more money. I had to borrow the money to get out of margin call. So I closed all the trades left in a loss but this left me with 3/4 of my money left. I’ve asked for a withdrawal and now he is telling me that I have to cover the company’s losses they incurred on my trades I closed. This was all done by wire transfer and Bitcoin. Anyway to get my money back ?

  8. Status market is scam everyone.
I had the same experience as Aniger. I think he can remember me from Trustpilot. I had a call form this company ( a guy called David Shultz from Switzerland) about 6 weeks ago and he asked me to send $ 260 to open the account. After 1 weeks, we had some profit and my account was over $1000 . Then, he asked me to deposit more money to get more profit. I transferred $ 2000 from Newton and for almost 3 weeks we had some profit and my account became $24000. During this time, he always asked me to deposit more money to earn more and I refused all the time. Then, he used another strategy and opened some trades and my account went minus 22000. He asked me to deposit some money otherwise my account will be closed .He put $10000 credit in my account to don’t let my account be closed . After that, he consistently asked me for money to cover credit because he said they owed from a credit company. After one week, unfortunately, I transferred some money to recover it. He said it’s not enough and I have to pay all 10000 and I said I don’t have it . So, he disabled my account since last week. Last Friday, he opened my account, it was still over $24000 and margin level over %400. Still he said I have to pay the credit to open the account even though if he remove that $10000 credit , my account was safe and ok, but he said not possible. This is the craziest experience I’ve ever had in my life. Hope there’s a way to shut this stupid company down and get innocent people money back.

  9. Hi guys,
Thanx for your article. I just paid 5000 Status Markets and then I started to do some research because the communication didnt seem very professional. Regrettably I didn’t do it the other way around… What can I do now? They will call me this afternoon for more details and great promises. And that’s not the only one by the way… I’m also trading with Cryptansa , but that seems to go the wrong also way after promising starts. So stay away from those guys too. Do you guys have had any luck so far? I hope to hear from you.
    All the best, Peter

  10. Scam – Status maket do not respond to emails and insist on doing phone calls. Extremely push to invest and do not inform about risks involved and financal fees disclosure. I invested initially 260USD and then addition over USD10k. Now not able to withdraw due to trading volume rules and when I ask in writing to clarify what the rules are, they will not respond via email. Keep pushing to invest more and more and no accountability, no financial authority regulating them. Company registered in Marshall Island and yet Finanacial Analyst says they are calling from London. They use different diffferent IPS phone nos. and say they are saving money by using such. Check https://fca.org.uk/ to see if investing firm is registered. This status markets is not and avoid them. They use greed to lur you in and then don’t care about you. If you say you want to leave, they use fear that you will not get your money back. This is vertually like gambling. Ups and downs. Lots of fees that they won’t disclosure. THey talk to you on the phone and will say what you want to hear to get your money. Save yourself and report this company eveywhere.

  11. You just saved me.
The video was cheezy but so are used car dealer commercials when the owner wants to be in them. But the production quality was good and I thought to my self “scammers wouldn’t pay for a youtube video” so I signed up thinking I’ll just put a couple hundred in and see what happens. I can go back to eating rammin for a month if it doesn’t work out. Then I got the call. I told the caller that I was at work and instead of being understanding and scheduling a call back (like a reputable company would do) he started the hard sell trying to keep me on the line (red flag there). “Dude I’m at work, I’ll check my email when I get a break, good bye” Him “Just take break now” (Ya the lack of English skills was another red flag). So I decided to dig a little after checking my email and considering doing it anyway. You just saved me from making a mistake.

    Thank you for your article!

  12. I just got off the phone with StatusMarkets. They where very pushy & when I asked questions about the company. I was told it was based in Australia but the emails & web page have UK numbers. Was also told they had an office in Amsterdam The Netherlands, which is were I live. When I insisted that I would need an appointment in the amsterdam office before I put any money in to the system. They became difficult & stated I could only have an appointment if I deposited 210 euro first.
I refused & stated it sounded like a scam, the man got irritated & continued to push me into deposit money. I ended the call & immediately look up scams StatusMarkets and found this webpage.
Thank you, I feel much better now knowing it is a scam & I feel happy I listened to my gut instincts.

  13. I also lost my 30,000USD to these heartless people. They told me on particular Friday you will withdraw as much as 50,000USD but come Friday, my position is negative because one of the scam players invested too much on positions. So they told me to deposit 30,000 in order to offset the situation then you can withdraw your money. bullshit people. To name them they are Julia Katz, Jonathan and David Sheltz These people are
fearsome scammers, they even threaten you..

  14. They keep telling me I can take my money out anytime but they also keep saying next time next time and because this is my first time doing this I don’t know what to do!!
I can’t believe that I read some of the reviews were people are saying it’s a good platform customer service is awesome well if it’s so awesome why can’t you get a hold of anybody when your phone that phone number that’s at the bottom of their website? It’s just an answering machine that says you’re next in line and nobody ever comes!
I am sick about this. 🥲780-999-4103,,, And now I keep getting 20+ calls a day from different agencies but I never know if it’s status calling or another scam because status market always calls from A different number,, United kingdom, Ontario Nova Scotia New Brunswick London,, wtf,, I apologize for not writing in perfect form,, 😡 I guess I should just walk away and let them have it because I can’t keep doing this with them,, I basically have to sit by the phone and hope that they call me,, sometimes it’s not for two or three days,, they never once have given me a number to reach out to them,, Man was I stupid! No I never lost thousands of dollars,, yet,, but I feel like maybe if I did someone would help me figure this out? I don’t even know where to turn to?

  15. Hi this is Lynette again, can anybody help me get my money back I don’t know where to turn,, please I am desperate I do screen my calls because of what has happened but you could text me 780-999-4103 please please🥲

  16. Status market is a scam in all its totality, don’t ever have any thing to do with this useless company, every individual that has left comments on here are 110%correct. i was lured with so much pressure from one Stephan and Alice to pay in money with intent of withdrawing after few minutes, i payed in my £1000 through bitcoin wallet, waited for 3 days there was no money in my account still, I try getting in touch with the rogues only to get told I have been kicked out of the market!!! I tried calling the fake numbers they use in calling i could nt get through to anyone, they keep ringing with different numbers, they don’t reply to emails, one of them later called asking me to pay in £2000 for tax before I can withdraw my money and I said to him why did you not tell me i will have to pay tax at the time you collected 1000k from me why now, so he wanted to scam me of another 2000k and alongside 1000k the useless company already took from me plus initial payment of 192£,they actually asked for £5000 which I firmly told them I don’t have it, they ask me to go get a loan, my instinct told me they were scammers which I did confront them of it by letting them know the reviews about the company is not encouraging and Alice one of rogues told me its one of their business competitors that’s trying to disrepute the company. So long story short this status market rubbish company is a BIG SCAMM!!! BE WARNED!!!!!!

  17. I’m in for 400,000$ CDN. This was deposited by parcels of 40,000$ or so. Always the same response: I’ve “made” 4 million $, but the whole Metatrader screen is red trades, and If I try to take at least _some_ money out, I have to cover their “credit” and then we’ll see. I’ll try to get my $$ back out, but after reading this page, it doesn’t look rosey…

  18. P.S. I’m in Canada. Is there any way to force their hand using the authorities here; like using Revenue Canada? TIA

  19. Hello everyone I have the same problem like you. Just I want to know did you cover a credit and close all positions that yours would not be gambling and then you try to get back your money? Because I have the same problem just now I’m closing all positions and have a profit just I need close a credit and just then I can take my money. But I don’t know they will make a withdrawal or not. 🙁 thanks for your comment
If you know some more information please contact me [email protected] at this time I lost 24000$😡

  20. Thanks everyone!! You just saved me! I just hang up, on time. Thank you so much for writing this blog.
Lets all stay away from this company.

  22. How are clients bred at Status Markets? The scammers from Status Markets act very arrogantly, but at the same time professionally. They are looking for victims on social networks and in my case from YouTube ads. Having established a communication with me in Belgium with a potential client, the crooks by any means persuade me to open an account for 250 dollars (translated from euros). The broker opens deals for small amounts and starts earning, showing by this that you won’t earn much with $ 250. After that, they allegedly begin to teach trading in currency pairs, it turns out to earn something, but little and you will not get anything out of there except for some small amount in order to dull your vigilance. In fact, they will start to cheat you to replenish a more significant amount (in my case it was 9850 euros, that is, about $ 11300) and I immediately warned the broker that I had no more money and if you do this, then further divorce begins. The rates of course have increased in number and in size and income has also increased. But ! not so simple…. At some point, almost all bets began to go into a big minus (through the fault of the broker himself, he is a professional). And for this you need! ‘Says the broker’ these bids are to be auctioned on the stock exchange But! not so simple … – $ 20,000 per bet! you need to pay 20-25 percent of the value of the bet (in my case, 3 bets of 5 thousand dollars each) and this money needs to be transferred to Status Markets. The broker is not interested in the fact that I have no more money, he asks to go take a loan from my bank or borrow from someone in order to get rid of negative rates as soon as possible, otherwise the trading account will be blocked. This is how the investor, that is, I, unexpectedly burns out, but the “good broker” decides to help him out by offering a loan. But ! not so simple …! This loan that they want to STROKE to me! you also need to transfer as a deposit to Status Markets, otherwise, with an open credit, withdrawal of funds from Status Markets is not possible. I didn’t get richer, but I got 12,000 poorer and gained valuable experience with scammers. Thank you for the attention. do not invest in this company. My broker was (MARK FISHER)

  23. The following is the situation I currently encounter in Status Markets.
My name is Kees and I live in the Netherlands. I started to learn that Status Markets is an online advertisement. At first, someone called and asked for some of my personal information. Then the next day, a colleague said he was in London to follow up. He opened an account (the number 211..5597) for me. After scanning my passport, credit card, and other documents, I was urged to remit the first 221USD remittance In the beginning, I only deposit 500, 1000 Euro, learn to do it. Later, He almost always asks me to put more money in. At the same time, he changed the 37USD bonus at the beginning to 30000USD credit, without specifying the terms. when I asked how I can withdraw the money from my account, he said that I have to pay off all the 30,000USD credit. Because he repeatedly urged me to send money, I have borrowed money from my family and then remitted a total of 23,769 USD, but they said that I have to remit another 11,283 USD. because of various signs and the Head senior Financial Advisor of Status Markets, stopped the account several times. Currently, The account has been suspended by them for two months. At this moment the current profit in the account is 126195,39usd, plus deposit 23769usd, so the balance is 149964.39usd . because they have been urging me to continue the money remittance very fiercely, and I later check a lot of negative news about Status markets on the internet, and there are many messages from people who were deceived in the same situation as mine, and I have asked them many times to settle my account in Status Markets, but they just kept asking me to send money, so I believe I was also cheated. Now the matter has been handed over to the lawyer, If they do not settle the matter and return the money to me, the lawyer will take further action.

  26. I can’t believe that Status Markets can continue to do this to people with no recourse from any police or government. They took everything my family had and refused to give back what it still showed I had in credit in my account. Unbelievable

  27. I wish i got this information before starting trading with this useless company. These are heartless people scamming people and you wont be able to withdraw your funds. I lost my hard earning of £6000 to them and up till now i am unable to withdraw my money.

I have submitted about 4 withdrawal requests but they kept on declined it without any valid reasons. They are rogues. I have sent numerous emails to no avail.

The names of their staff i have had contact with are:

    2. Alice Kaminski.
