Read our Global Base review to see if we recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a globalbase.io review.
Who are they?
After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.
So Global Base is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.
| Regulatory Body | Status |
|---|---|
| FCA (UK) | No record of authorization |
| ASIC (AU) | No record |
| CySEC (EU) | No record |
| SEC / CFTC (US) | No record |
How does it work?
Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.
Withdrawing funds
You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.
If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.
How to get your money back?
If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.
The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.
What about wires?
If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.
Make sure you leave reviews about Global Base in other sites
Another way to hurt them and save other people from falling victims is to leave bad reviews on other sites, and describe shortly what happened. If you fallen victim please leave a review and a comment on this site at the comment section. Also, when these people change their website they tend to call the old clients, so if they call you from a new website please write it down on the comment or let us know it by contacting us. That would be really appreciated by us and families all over world. Also if you get phone calls from other companies please put the name of these companies also in the comment or send it to us. We will expose them too.

THANK GOD I SAW THIS!
talk about hard sell….was contacted by man called George and he was
pushing me to lodge £200. I said a firm NO and we arranged a call back a week later. I was then subjected to further calls from others from this company who were asking me why I was not investing, and giving me every excuse under the sun as to why I would be missing out by not IMMEDIATELY investing.
SMELT A BIG FAT RAT.
and as I am not one to mince my words I told all other callers I was not repeating my previous conversations and was waiting for George to call me back.
I had then made my mind up this was a BIG NO NO
George called
and I explained I would not be investing as I thought the company highly dubious and untrustworthy as the barage of calls I had received were not what one would expect from a legitimate company.
Oh this one tried all manner of excuses etc to get me to invest. Had enough of listening to his utter drivel Hung up
Then hes calling back
blocked call
but how do you delete your account as neither their email or 24 hour chat services SURPRISINLY DONT WORK!
Thankyou I almost fell into this trap from reading a news article for Amazon trading. I was setting up an account for Amazon Trading. I don’t even recall putting my phone no in, seconds later I got a call from Larry at Globalbase. He then tried to talk me through setting up my account referring me to a web page for a so called 3rd party company called Trainfactory. Apparently the benefit of going through them is you get education on trading and you are entitled to a 14 day refund period. His insistence in “walking me through” the activation process raised alarm bells. I told him I will do it in my own time as I wanted to read everything fully. He of course scheduled a call back for tomorrow. Glad I read this before tomorrow!
Well it seem I have fell into it! 🙁
I have deposited on Monday, now I can’t even log in anylonger, as I did not provide them proof of identity.
I decided I won’t provide this due to them hounding me with 15-20 calls per day I thought it was very starnge, also they have sat on the line with me until I have deposited! and then more and more calls every day!
I have tried resetting my password, however there’s no link being sent to reset!
What would you suggest I do? really down in the dumps! HELP!
Can I already request chargeback from the Bank?
Thanks for all your help!
I deposited $250 in Globalbase a month ago and was told that my account manager Veronica Johnson would call me. I sent her several emails asking her to contact me and she didn’t. I have been trying to withdraw my money and customer services keeps sending me the same message that my account manager will call me.They didn’t take long to withdraw the money from my account and now they are making all kinds of excuses not to refund me my money. They are scammers and low lives.
Absolute Scam, unfortunately I fell victim too, I was able to use the platform for some time and then I noticed activity occurring without my consent, I woke up one morning with $0 don’t listen what they say especially Max.
i invested $21000 with these crooks it was invested and made into $95000 US i asked for a withdrawal and they used all the excuses they could find and still no money from them they are Truly a huge scam in operation at Globalbase Dont give them any money i started with $700 and got talked into more they would say loo at all the money we are making put in more and then you make more dont be scammed like i have my name is Trevor Atkinson from Australia my ph no is 0408141113 i hate f,,,, scammers
Fortunately for me, my digital wallet service decined to authorise a transfer of my hard earned savings to globalbase because of too many bad reports. Is this why they advise not to reveal who you are dealing with ?
I am saying now they rang me as they was not happy that i put what happened in my comments they said they are investigating the matter and someone would ring me to sort it out i am still waiting for that call , yes they are the real deal scammers just dont get caught invest in Australian investments leave overseas i will not get caught the 3rd time they sound so convincing on the phone telling you they are your friends yes i admit it i was a sucker Trevor Atkinson
I put the $250 Aud. And they kept calling, three different ones,
The first one convinced me to add around $2000 USD but it didn’t show up in my account.
They wanted control of my computer too. Wanted to know where I worked, how much I had etc. when I asked them about the Tax files I need, they reckon they don’t pay tax. My account was over $9k and he kept pushing me to invest more as it was so good.
He was instructed to leave it go ticking along and we will see where it gets. I had then a frantic call from someone else saying have I seen my account? Apparently
I had to invest money in it quick.
Since the balance has been $-99.13.
Global base really a scam company. Once you register, they will keep calling you till invest money. Your account manager will keep calling you to invest more and more. The day when you say anything about withdraw the money, he will stop responding to your emails.
Honest advice, please stay away from them.
Globalbase maybe is ok, but they do not answer fast on email or chat requests…
