Primefin Review

Read our Primefin review carefully to see why we do NOT recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a primefin.com review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So Primefin is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

Regulatory Body Status
FCA (UK) No record of authorization
ASIC (AU) No record
CySEC (EU) No record
SEC / CFTC (US) No record

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Methodology: To learn how we identify high-risk brokers and evaluate potential scams, please refer to our methodology page: https://www.personal-reviews.com/methodology/

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

Make sure you leave reviews about Primefin in other sites

Another way to hurt them and save other people from falling victims is to leave bad reviews on other sites, and describe shortly what happened. If you fallen victim please leave a review and a comment on this site at the comment section. Also, when these people change their website they tend to call the old clients, so if they call you from a new website please write it down on the comment or let us know it by contacting us. That would be really appreciated by us and families all over world. Also if you get phone calls from other companies please put the name of these companies also in the comment or send it to us. We will expose them too.

  5. Im glad i did not join, after showing an interest in Netflix shares feom an ad i entered my contact details and boy do i regret that. They called back almost immediately but couldnt convince me of their legitimacy. They are harrasing me evryday with calls asking me to join and deposit R3500 and if im unhappy i can just withdraw. Im glad i came across this post, thank you.

  6. i had a call from them and they helped me through the steps to open account and then i was asked to put in my first deposit. of which i did not agree because i havent even done all the documentation yet. so i got a feeling it is a scam. why so much in a hurry to make me deposit 3500? i immediately blocked their email, unsubscribed and blocked the numbers used to call me.

  7. I showed an interest in Netflix shares and sent m message to enquire for more details. I got a call this morning from some guy with a strong Indian accent who claimed to be calling from the UK. I had my guard up when l saw the number they used to call me and asked where is he calling me from. I was told of a promo that was valid until tomorrow that would give me an additional $100 for free. I was told that a Senior Financial Advisor would call me to ‘teach’ me about trading as l told them that l was inexperienced. I was asked if l wanted to take up the offer and also transfer the $250 that was the initial fee. The guys lost interest when l said l dont have money right now and was just looking for more info. After the call l went on the internet to search and was not shocked to find that they are indeed a scam.

I am glad l came across this post. thanks.

  10. Invested in May 2021 with PrimeFin and lost all of it within a bit more than a week! Do not invest! They promise and lie to you but there is no performance. Opened a case with police. Scam!

  11. I lost a lot of money with Primefin … brokers name was Alex….very aggressive….do not engage …ever…Big Scam…initial reviews and investigation was so positive but all revealed now…you

  12. Oh my God I almost fell for this scam. They used fake news about a well known South African celebrity who supposedly traded with them. I went on youtube to verify the interview but did not find it. They will call you and pressure or manipulate you in making the first deposit. Don’t its a SCAM!

  13. I have fellen victim. Do not invest with you, was tricked into buying shares, now No1 is responding to me..

  14. Hello all, I did not deposited them but gave them my details. When they said they want me to go to my online banking app I understand that there is something wrong. Do you think they will use my details for other purposes? thank you!

  15. Oh Jesus…!!! I saw the Ad on Youtube video Ads and I was like “maybe this is true”. And received a call the next day from a guy with a Nigerian accent. And was I like no ways… I am kinda disappointed seeing the 100 negative reviews. I was hoping its true seeing you can buy Netflix shares. And was like thank God with the baby coming life is going to be easier

  16. I have been scammed by greedy agents. Initially I wanted to buy shares from Netflix. This took me to a whirlwind of losing lots and lots of money…they enticed you to deposit more and more money and seems genuine, and suddenlythe markets crashed on Thursdaywhich wasn’t even in the news…please help me

  17. Same here. Initially made a few profits and every time called upon to deposit more money. Followed investment advice but seems to be on non profit making shares. When margin level dropped to below 75% they required even more funds. When I checked the portfolio they swapped all shares leaving me with nothing. Please be aware of tradimg with this company.

  18. This is a scam. Never invest in them. They keep on saying add more money in order for your trading to be successful hence you lose your initial capital if you don’t add more money. They will let your trading run non stop. When it stops after two or three weeks running they will say it ran at a lost.

  19. Scammers! They are a bunch of scammers. After some few calls from a guy with a Nigerian accent I fell for their scam, unfortunately.
After I deposited R3500 they wanted me to trade stocks. More money was needed and by then I was alarmed, I refused to add more money. They let my trading run non-stop until it crashed. Please don’t trade with this scammers.

  20. Thank you people for sharing I was called yesterday by a guy Sivabalan asking me to deposit R3200 of which I didn’t have.He helped me saying I must put all my card details in order for him to put me in a queue for deposits. I will not deposit my money

  22. Roelie
I join Primefin on 25 June 2021, and deposit the minimum amount, after a few days they want more and more money to be deposited, Eliya was my broker and he is suppose to assist and advise you by choosing the correct trades BUT he give me bad advise on trades and the trades just went down in the negative and I lost all my money. He deliberate give me the wrong advise and now I understand why, they stole your money in this way. Eliya told me that he has 6 years experience in trading but he is a scammer just like the people he is working for.

  23. RP
I have join Primefin in June 2021 with the minimum amount to join the platform. After 3 days they want more money from me and then every week they ask for more and more money. If you don’t want to deposit any money whether you have it or not they start getting angry. The brokers name Eliya was the broker allocated to me, he told me that he have 6 years experience and maybe that is true BUT he told me to open trades that will give profits and he guarantee it but then that trades went way done in such a way that more and more money is required to keep the margin levels in tacked. He created that and now I know why because that just make more and more money out of me. The company Primefin and there brokers do not look after the interest of there customers they will took all your money with the blink of an eye. Never trust them and stay away from them and make use of a legit company.

  24. Primefin is bad news, scumbags, fraudsters and scammers.Where is the regulating authorities when there are so many complains and this company is still continuing?

  25. so why are they giving netflix a bad name. If this is a scam report to the authorities

  26. After going through these reviews from my co-scammed, I don’t even want to add to the constantly growing list, my frustration and losses with PrimeFin. My experience comes to the exact same thing all you guys are saying here. Is writing a bad review somewhere, the best way to hurt these guys back? Which site can cause most harm?

  27. Scam… I deposited $250 and the next day I was told to deposit more money as there would great expectation and turnaround on Amazon without me understanding I was pushed and directed to invest that money so that they can see on their side and help deal with my finances fast… I tried withdrawal option and and I am still waiting on the message saying “processing” it is a scam

  28. I sent a link to Primefin after I was scammed and all of a sudden all these positive reviews appeared. It is a scam and all the positive reviews are a response to this information I sent them. Don’t fall for it …it is a scam

  29. It is a total scam. They scammed me of $1,000, choose another broker, don’t give these people your hard earned money.

  30. Yes ,the app is easy for access. But it is not so easy for a beginner. The account manager is not always helpful. For checking portfolio the account holder should be cautious enough as to where to click and where not to. If you click on a wrong place you are bound to lose your dollar. I am a victim of ignorance of this technical information .Although I invested a small amount and lost half of the deposited amount within minutes, the account manager did not apologize, instead made me disappointed. The account manager is not always quick responsive. Asked me to wait for half an hour but communicated me after four and half hours later when the loss already happened. Then asked me to reinvest a handsome money, but I requested for withdrawal after this incident. I never thought about for second investment. Another embarrassing thing is that they make calls from various country codes, such as +44, +27,etc.This is pretty much suspicious. This incident happened with me on 9th September, 2021!

  31. Primefin Is a scam. They catch all new traders that don’t know what they are doing. They tell you to trade and max out your margin so you need to deposit more capital all the time. They do not give you TPs or SL and tell you to leave you trades open over night. There SWAP fees are ridiculous and you will lose all you money on SWAP fees.

  32. Look at the names of the people that wrote the reviews….Lol ..Tom, Alan, Peter and Paul. Primefin is a scam. They tell you to trade your max margin and tell you to leave your trades open overnight. Their swap fees are ridiculously high and you will lose all your capital.

  33. Dont waste your money on Primefine they wont give your money back ive had a horrible experience with them and im still waiting for my wadrawal they

  34. unprofessional i never even trade call me coward sceamed at you promise you can get your money back email your bank without your knowledge but they told you that your bank can than boom your bank cant im asking for my money for a month and a half still they sed 3 business days yet nothing now insufficient fund scam

  35. I will never trade with this company again all they wanted was for me to deposit the money ,they let the mt4 app Finnish all your money and when it’s gone they call you again smooth talking you to deposit the money again they are very far from excellent..

  36. BIG TIME SCAM , I INVITE PEOPLE TO SHARE EXPERIENCE WITH THESE SCAMSTERS.

I lost USD 250.00 , YOU CAN NOT CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY AND THEY WILL PUSH YOU FOR MORE AND MORE MONEY, THANKS GOD I JUST LOST USD 250 ONLY.

THEY HAVE ONE SIDE COMMUNICATION ONLY , THEY WILL NOT ADVISE ANYTHING AND YOU WILL RECEIVE CALL FROM KENYA ROUTED THRU UK.

  37. I have not had a good experience with primefin. The metatrader platform is great. But the company itself feels very scammy. My first account manager bullied me, called repeatedly demanding I drop cash into my account. He was very manipulative and kept harassing me. After I lost my money, he disappeared and did not respond. The second one I was assigned (after repeated escalations) convinced me to give him a chance, but ended up losing my money. I don’t believe the advice received is good advice. There’s also no direct contact or account manager details shared with you, I felt very unsupported. Would not recommend this broker at all. Be very wary.

  38. SCAM. these operators are so well trained that I list R150 000. Biggest scammers ever. I wish that karma get these scammers who steal hard earned monies. Don’t get hooked with these ugly people

  39. Not at all reliable, Agents are very rude. if you go as per their flow they are happy but as soon as you start asking questions about the platform and issues you are facing they cut your call.

  40. Not at all reliable, System failure happens very frequently, Agents are very rude. if you go as per their flow they are happy but as soon as you start asking questions about the platform and issues you are facing they cut your call.

  41. The worst broker I have ever been in contact with in the whole world. They gave 4 advises to my friend and they were all wrong. She lost R 300.000 in 3 weeks and primefin only asked for more funds. The R 23.000 what was left on her account she is already waiting for 3 weeks now to get her money. Unreliable, no market knowledge, not customer minded and in my opinion; uneducated !

  42. Scam scam scam…stay away…the other reviews are not real. They obviously do the reviews themselves. Look at the names …Paul, Tom, Peter lol….be very careful and don’t fall for it

  43. The Broker called Daniel called me and convinced me to invest R5000.00 and later on another R5000.00. They always called me whilst i was driving or in meetings after i told them to call me after hours. Recently i was called by another person, unfortunately i forgot his name. He requested that i must invest another R3500.00 and they will re-instate Just over R5000.00 of the amount which i invested. He also told me that i have traded with the first R5000.00 on two platforms and it showed a total loss. When i tried to call them back on the numbers they have used, the number is unavailable. They use 012, 041 and 021 numbers. This is a scam, please stay away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
