Picture Quality
LG 75UN6950ZUD has a very good picture quality thanks to the 4k resolution which is four times greater than full HD. The most important display feature is the 4K Active HDR which brings the content to life thanks to the beautiful colors it displays and it is very useful when watching nature documentaries or even when playing games. However, we have some bad news for the movie lovers because this TV doesn’t support local dimming. Local dimming technology dims the backlight of the screen where the colors are black thus providing darker blacks. We are not saying that the blacks on this TV are lousy but they are not as good as they would be if the TV would support local dimming. So far, I have not been able to find compatible headphones that will work with this LG 75UN695ozud smart tv. I’ve contact LG several times and have not received any suggestions or recommendations. I asked if LG manufactured headphones for this tv and after requesting this information 4 or 5 times, I’ve given up. The tv is great. The sound isn’t the best but I hear through my soundbar. There seems no way to easily connect headphones to this optical audit out. Any ideas?
Well, this is John Chamberlain on December 18. I’ve spoken with LG “technicians” and others and even Miss [email protected] more than once. I have not received any information, advice, recommendation or RESPONSE from LG. I have tried three different headphones and none worked, even though their listings show will connect to all tvs including smart tv. I have a soundbar that connected directly from the optical audio out to the soundbar. Approaching 85, I’d like to have headphones so I can list to my LG smart tv and not disturb others late at night. Any ideas?
I have the solution. I purchased headsets from Walmart. Less than $50. Works with all tv models.
