UnixBroker Review

Read our UnixBroker review carefully to see why we do NOT recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is an unixbroker.com review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So UnixBroker is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

Make sure you leave reviews about UnixBroker in other sites

Another way to hurt them and save other people from falling victims is to leave bad reviews on other sites, and describe shortly what happened. If you fallen victim please leave a review and a comment on this site at the comment section.

  1. I received an email form DIGITAL BANKING that its a good investment. I tried to register but i come to realised that the profit was so highly impossible. Then i received a phone call from a lady name CHARLOTTE CLARK with a polish accent, She convinced me to invest with minimum of $250. Then an hour later I received a call from Switzerland, a guy called MIKE ANDERSEN, He showed me the process on how to get a profit from METATRADER4. The thing is he accessed my phone with the app TEAM VIEWER QUICK SUPPORT. Then he wants me to open my online bank app, that there i realised that it is a fucking SCAM! I dropped the call and ring my bank. I tried to withdraw my funds, I have send all my required docs but still they dont allow me to withdraw. Bank advised me to delete all the app and reset my phone and ofcourse they replaced my debit card. I report them to fraud agency. Good thing that my bank paid me for dispute. This scammer is so ORGANIZED! It is very dangerous since they are very TECHY and professional. We should stop them!

  3. I to have been scammed . I have sent many requests for my money back, Now no one will return my messages. They really got made when I mentioned the reviews online.

  4. Thanks for the information, it is a big help! I made the deposit od $250 the other day, after they asked for copies of bills and bank statements I got suspicious. When Mike Anderson asked me to download software that they wanted to take over my computer, I said I’m done and I want my money back. I was then called by Robert, he was pretty slick. Robert got me to go on the trading site and create two positions. I did that but I haven’t returned or taken any calls from them since. After reading this I will be requesting my money from the bank. I am up $135 right now but I don’t think I can get it because I’m not giving them my banking information.
    Thanks again!

  5. I was scammed by unixbroker. It is true that for a small amount of 250 USD, I doubled the balance to 420 USD, then the broker closed the transaction in the red and says that I did it, I have a balance of -13.04 USD, the broker says that I have to pay back more and the company credit. It seems to me this is a typical financial pyramid What should I do with these scammers. These are the thieves yet have the courage to call ordinary thieves are better because if I steal it is not a threat to give away more.

  6. Oszusci to prawda! Stracilem tylko 250$ bo tyle wynosil depozyt ale zarobione pieniadze to inna sprawa

Scammers are true! I only lost $ 250 because that’s my deposit, but the money earned is another matter

  7. I got scammed by Unix Broker. I invested $250 US with them and when I asked them to close my account and refund my initial investment nothing happened. They now refuse to respond to my emails.

  8. it is a scam
    UNIXbroker stole from me 13000euros
open and close positions when i have 45000dollars in my acount i ask for withdraw to get my money back
so they refuse three time after i day in one postion i lost all the money

be care everybody do not trust this company

  9. I dont know what should I do
    I invested 250$ of course
Now I have 650$ on my account but they don’t want to give me this money and they want me to transfer the next money saying there will be quick profit .What about my documents? I send them ID card e.t.c

  10. I invested 250$ of course and now I have 650$ on my account. But they dont want to give me my money. And I send them my documents ID card e.t.c what should I do. and they want me to transfer the next money saying there will be quick profit. they keep calling from other numbers

  11. People maybe we should denonce they all together, because l was lost no only 250 but l was invested after 5000 euros after when l was have 22 000 dollars money disappeared, they say they take mi out because was all on minus, that is absolutely mafia, using no real name, all l believe from Russia or Lituania,

  12. I have also made the 250$ deposit, traded forex for up to 2600$ and then claimed my money, my trader Julia Epstein told me I have to pay taxes to them to get my money, which I of course complained about and when I said i would file a complaint, she hung up on me. UNIX BROKER are true scammers DO NOT EVER do business with them, you will never see your money again… BEWARE of them.

  13. UnixBroker is 100% a scam. It was very easy to sign up and deposit money through my MasterCard. When they get your money, they ask for your personal information which I absolutely refused to give them. Why didn’t they ask upfront for what they want from you? This was a red flag. I didn’t give them any information and I asked for my money back which of course I never got back.
They called me almost everyday and I told them I would like to donate the money from the account to Red Cross. They are annoying. I really don’t care about the $250; it was my mistake as I should of looked at reviews first before depositing any money.

  14. Unixbroker is a scam. Avoid it like the plague. Unixbroker closed my account down without my permission and have not refunded my closing balance of approximately 100,000 US dollar. Leo Katz, my broker, appeared to be charming and informed and help me grow my account considerably over the last six months. On Friday 14th May I realised I could not access my account. Neither could I get in touch with Unixbroker by email or phone. I suspect Unixbroker will start up under a different name. Unxibroker operates in UK from 4 apt Flawing Street, The Grand Parade, Liverpool. The registered address of Unixbroker is Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Marshall Islands,MH96960. Have nothing to do with any broker operating from these addresses. I will inform ASIC, the Australian financial services regulator about the unregulated work practices of Unixbroker as I suspect many of Unixbroker’s clients will be from the Southern Hemisphere. I will also contact financial regulators in New Zealand. What bastards!

    • 100% they are scammers.. I’ve deposited $250 after that they asked to deposit 5000£ when it went critical at around 26000 they asked another 2000 to save account 😑 i can’t believe how i trusted them. They will burn in hell, bastards.
