Mr Guru Review

Read our Mr Guru review carefully to see why we do NOT recommend this broker for trading. Just to clear doubts, this is a mrguru.io review.

Who are they?

After taking a look at their website, it shows that they do not fall under any regulating agency. That is a MAJOR RED FLAG!! That should be enough for you NOT to invest with them. And they also work with websites that offer “Automated trading software” which is another red flag, as this kind of websites are notoriously famous for scamming schemes.

So Mr Guru is just another unregulated forex broker, which means the customers are not protected, and there is highly likely they will get away with your hard earned money and there will be no regulating agency to hold them responsible.

Regulatory Body Status
FCA (UK) No record of authorization
ASIC (AU) No record
CySEC (EU) No record
SEC / CFTC (US) No record

How does it work?

Usually unregulated forex brokers work in the following way. They will call people to persuade them to make the initial minimum deposit, while trying any conceivable method in order to make that happen. They will offer deals that sound too good to be true, like we will double your initial deposit or you will make $100 per day easily. Please don’t fall for anything they say!!! It is a SCAM! After making the initial deposit, people get transferred to a smarter scammer, called a “retention agent”, who will try to get more money out of you.

Withdrawing funds

You should submit a withdrawal request ASAP, because your funds are never safe with an unregulated broker. And here is when things get tricky.

If you want to withdraw your money and it does not matter if you have profits or not, they will delay the withdrawing process for months. If they delay it for six months, you won’t be able to file a chargeback anymore and your money is gone for good. It does not matter how often you remind them or insist in withdrawing your money, you will NOT get them back. And if you signed the Managed Account Agreement or MAA, which is basically authorizing them to do anything they want on your account, they will lose all your funds so there won’t be anything to request anymore.

How to get your money back?

If you already deposited your money with them and they refuse to give your money back, which is very likely to happen, don’t worry, it might be a way or two to get your money back.
First of all you need to keep the emails as a proof that you have been requesting the money back from them but they don’t give it to you, or they delay the process for too long, with the intention of not refunding your money.

The first thing you should do is perform a chargeback! And you should do this right away! Contact your bank or credit card provider and explain how you were deceived into depositing for a trading company that is not regulated and they refuse to give your money back. This is the simplest way of getting your money back and is also the way that hurts them the most. Because if there are many chargebacks performed, it will destroy their relation with the payment service providers. If you haven’t done this before or you are not sure where to start or how to present your case to your bank or credit card company, we can assist you in preparing your chargeback case. Just contact us at [email protected] but do not let your broker know they you read this article or that you are in contact with us.

What about wires?

If you sent them a wire, there is no way to perform a chargeback on a wire. For this step you need to raise the fight to a different level. Tell them that you will go to the authorities and file a complaint against them. That will get them to rethink the refund possibility. Another thing you can do is prepare a letter or email for the regulating agencies. Depending on the country where you live, you can search on google to find the regulating agency for Forex brokers in that country. After that you can prepare a letter or an email describing how you got deceived from them. Make sure you show this letter or email to them, and tell them you will send it to the regulating agency if they don’t refund your money. If you do not know where to start, reach for us at [email protected] and we will help you with this step as well.

  1. Not forthcoming with my withdrawal
Even had a phone call from them asking why I wanted to withdraw my money, keep getting told that it will be there in a couple of days. This is not true I am still waiting. Avoid at all costs

  3. Oh boy oh boy oh boy so after reading a website relating to Mr guru I thought yeah lets get on the stock market and see what it is all about and with the promise of earning millions by month end I signed up…no Kore them 2 minutes after submitting I received a phone call telling me all about Mr guru and that I ended up giving them the 200 pounds…. Alarm bells started to ring when I missed a call from my personal broker who seemed to be called john brown (you know really simple names) who sent me a zoom meeting info after making excuses I did a bit of reviewing for which I should have done b4 hand. It appeared it is not legit and is un requlated. So I requested my money back and after 5 days sending 5 emails a day I have been told I have my refund. So now I just wait and see if I do get my money back but im not expecting to this easy… so my advice to you is don’t sign up to Mr guru…

  4. I stupidly signed up with and all was going well until l had enough profit to make me think I would like to withdraw some. My account manager wanted me to wait and make more profit before drawing some out. I said no l still wanted to withdraw half of it. He arranged a time the next day for another phone call. I logged on 5 minutes early like l usually did to find all my 9000$ had vanished and my balance showed a minus figure. Needless to say he did not ring and he has blocked my phone number. I could cry. My initial deposit was all my savings and l was hoping for a good Christmas. To anyone else thinking do no touch this company. They are just thieves and are happy to string you along for over 6months to get your hard earned savings plus any profit made

  5. I realized after i signed up, than i called my bank to stop the transation, my bank said waited for 15 days than call the bank again to complainand requies the money back but you got to sent them e-mail to requires the money back to proved you are asking your money back to show the bank your are actcully asked your refunded. than you will got your money back from the bank.

  6. Just signed up for Mr Guru and wished I had seen this site before I did. Fortunately I invested a minimal sum which I had been prepared to lose. I have requested my funds back. I will wait and see how this turns out. I will contact my bank and stop the credit card payment.

  7. Always asking for more investment to gain more profits. I told them I don’t have more to invest. At first the profits were doing well and then it suddenly vanished. I told them I need to get my profits because I have to pay bills and other expenses but after that they never called me back. One day, you will pay for what you did to me. I hope you will meet your karma soon. The thing that hurts the most is when you trusted them with your money but they didn’t even care of what will happen to you after you’ve lost everything. MR GURU IS FAKE AND SCAM so don’t trust the people in this company. Don’t believe anybody from MRGURU.

  8. AVOID at all costs!! Saw advert wanted to get involved and find out more on Crypto currency, paid £200, funds were handled by a company called Wyre and I was directed to MrGuru. Appointment made, no call, new appointment made late call, then he had to go and called back later, not a good start. I wanted auto trading, he was not interested, was after more funds to make the effort “worth while”. That was enough for me I withdrew my £200, that was in mid December, 3 months later and still no money. Many excuses and all I get is that they have sent it to the account they received it from but refuse to give me any account details as to where it went, all get is ask your bank to check, I have even sent them a copy of my bank statement to show its not been returned but they are not interested. I have lost my money, they have not sent it and have no intention of sorting this out, I should have googled MrGuru before I dealt with them they are not even registered with the FCA. Have since dealt with Kraken and Coinbase both professional and no issues with funds. Just to repeat do not deal with this company you risk loosing your funds.

  9. Hi I too did not get my money back from them, but I did from my bank. Speak to them and report them as fraud. I bank with Barclays and received my refund after 2 days. Good luck.

  10. Hi i pride myself on not falling for scammers like this but they were really good at it and conned me out of £4000 as soon as i asked for a withdrawal of funds i was suddenly wiped out in an hour by “changes in the market”.My scammer was called Adam Gold they all have very English sounding names but a believe they are Indian,I cannot get my money back as i have not kept the emails relating to them. They even tried to get me to borrow money from other people or bank.

  11. Even with the present standard excuse of Covid the commination with this company is woeful. I needed to change my password and waited for 1 hour to receive a link. Which never appeared. Worst £200 I ever spent.
QESTION Why are the employees of this company even working. if the product is so good why are they not millionaires. they can keep the £200 if it gets them of my back.

  12. The trading experience with MrGuru.io and the Acct Manger (Adam Gold) wasn’t exactly pleasant or financially rewarding for me. Trades were aggressive and often against the market so i lost quite a bit of money. I decided to call it a day in February 2021. I told Adam numerous times over the phone i would be ceasing trading and wanted my remaining money (£1473.76) refunded. This fell on deaf ears, he insisted i continued trading so i terminated the call. I made my first formal withdrawal request on 17/2/21, which was declined. The reason given the Acct Mngr hadnt received verbal confirmation. I submitted another refund request on 3/3/21 for £1,473.76, this is still pending. My advice save time, money and the grief and stay away from MrGuru.io. I left a review via Trustpilot on 18/3/21 and will update daily until this theft is rectified. 19/3/21, 20/3…. money still not refunded.

  13. As others have stated on here Mr Guru is just another scam operation. No refunds will ever be made by them. The likes of Yahoo and others carrying the company’s advertising need to be held accountable for aiding and abetting fraud but of course, none of the authorities will ever do anything as that means soemeone has to actually get off there backside and do some honest work for the benefit of the general public.
Everyone involved w=in Mr Guru and associated outfits are all just a bunch of despicable crooks and just scum who deserve to be treated to the worst debilitating illnesses known to man with o chance of any medical help; that is all that they deeserve.

  14. I have lost £4,300. It is not a matter of”risk” losing your money, as soon as it is transferred the theft has taken place and your money is no longer yours. My banks have refused to reimburse because the say they sent the correct warnings. ( bank wires , not credit card). Everything happens through Binance and once withdrawn into mr guru account untraceable.
Any requests for withdrawal are met with conning nonsense “ the will so kindly give of their precious time to try to help you to recover your funds— the money the’ve actually stolen!!” No withdrawal of course ever happens. Look at Trust pilot, the fals, planted positive reviews don’t even describe how a withdrawal is made!
Authorities in UK will say they can do nothing while welcoming all your crime reports – because offshore account etc.
But as someone said the advertisements go one etc Surely some action is possible somewhere?? Just relying on ordinary, ignorant ( and you know it’s ok to admit to this, a crime is a crime and ashamed of being victim is assaulting yourself with a second arrow) relying on ordinary, sane trusting people? When trust is lost
, life is no longer worth living.

  15. I sadly became involved with Mr Guru in 2021I lost a lot of money and even though all went well to begin with, my first profit was transferred to my bank account.Thetrading account was left open over a weekend and guess what I lost the lot then I was changed over to a different trader who worked to try and recoup my loss, but of course needed more funds to gamble with. I complied and got to know my new mentor who started to teach me about trading we seemed to get on well very cautious as market was volatile small gains and big losses so it went on until all the money was gone. Fortunately I refused to borrow anymore. The money I lost was my own, so I ended my association .Now I am receiving calls offering a refund to my bank account. Too good to be true?Yes, I think so! Do not be drawn in they are far cleverer than you are! I learnt my lesson the hard way. An iron fist in a velvet glove is the way they operate. Do not be fooled as many others have I was too trusting of seemingly nice crooks !!!

  16. I stupidly invested 23200 gbp with mr Guru I had a expert I thought who would help me but has cost me I have emailed hundreds of times . They finally offered 2500 gbp but again never materialised

Now we find out it was a scan I am sick
