Picture Quality

LG 65UN6950ZUA has a very good picture quality thanks to the 4k resolution which is four times greater than full HD. The most important display feature is the 4K Active HDR which brings the content to life thanks to the beautiful colors it displays and it is very useful when watching nature documentaries or even when playing games. However, we have some bad news for the movie lovers because this TV doesn’t support local dimming. Local dimming technology dims the backlight of the screen where the colors are black thus providing darker blacks. We are not saying that the blacks on this TV are lousy but they are not as good as they would be if the TV would support local dimming. The colors are also very good thanks to the color accuracy technology. We will give 4/5 points for the LG 65UN6950ZUA review part of the picture quality.

Features

LG 65UN6950ZUA is a smart TV so you can connect it to the internet and browse online content. You can find some useful apps in the app store and you can stream movies from the biggest streaming companies. LG takes pride on its new artificial intelligence called ThinQ. It is helpful but it because this TV isn’t compatible with magic remote which makes the browsing and the general use of the TV much easier than conventional remotes. It also has Google assistant and is compatible with Google home and Alexa devices. So as far as the AI goes this TV is well equipped. We will give 4.5/5 point for the LG 65UN6950ZUA review part of the features.

Sound

LG 65UN6950ZUA has two built-in speakers with 10W power each. The total output of 20W is usually enough, unless you are standing too far from the TV. If that is the case, you should consider buying external speakers that will turn your room into a home theater. The ultra-surround mode is good, especially if you buy external speakers. The sound is also clear but that depends on the content quality. We will give 4/5 points for the LG 65UN6950ZUA review part of the sound.

Design

LG 65UN6950ZUA has a very good design overall and the color looks good. The build quality isn’t the best out there but isn’t bad either. The frame is quite thin which will make the TV look good if you wall mount it. Also some of the connection ports are on the side so shouldn’t be a problem if you wall mount it. We will give 4/5 points for the LG 65UN6950ZUA review part of the design.

Price

The LG 65UN6950ZUA price was $498 as of July 2020 which is not that bad for a 4K TV. We will give 5/5 points for the LG 65UN6950ZUA review part of the price.
